The Angkor Art Gallery has organised the “Magical Art” exhibition as part of its ongoing efforts to further benefit underprivileged youths from rural areas nationwide by assisting them in obtaining education and professional training in the digital sector.

The exhibition, which began on May 30 and runs through June 30, is organised in cooperation with Wealth Mansion and Endeavour Consulting at Wealth Mansion in Chroy Changva district, Phnom Penh.

A portion of the profits from the event will go to Passerelles Numeriques Cambodia (PNC) an NGO which provides skills training to underprivileged youths.

Zhi Ying, co-founder and CEO of the Angkor Art Gallery, said during the opening remarks at a special opening night that the event aims at raising awareness, creating educational opportunities in the IT sector, and transforming the lives of many as well as showcasing the power of art to effect change.

“We’re all here today to support the potential of underprivileged youths by empowering them with innovative education in key digital and soft employability skills,” said Zhi.

“This underscores the importance of supporting IT training programmes that can enhance careers and contribute to the development of the country,” she added. “We hope that through art, we can unite everyone, raise awareness of PNC, and create a lasting impact to empower underprivileged youths.”

External Relations Manager of PNC, Lucie Gogny, expressed gratitude on behalf of PNC for the exhibition, claiming it was a way to support the students who are in need.

“We’re very proud and emotional to collaborate on this event; not only will it be able to support our students financially, but it’s also an inspiring model for our students,” said Lucie.

“Cambodian youths definitely need successful figures who managed to pursue their dreams to pursue their own.”
